Couple AI is a private relationship-coaching app. This policy explains what data we collect, how we collect and use it, who processes it, and how you can control or delete it.
When you allow AI processing, Couple AI sends the data needed for the feature you use through our authenticated Firebase Functions server to xAI's Grok. This can include your name, relationship details, derived assessment results, recent messages, voice audio or transcripts, and photos you choose to share. We use this data to generate Sera's reads and replies, extract coaching themes, transcribe voice notes, and create spoken replies.
You can withdraw or re-enable permission at any time under Settings → AI data processing. Withdrawal stops future AI requests. It does not by itself delete data already processed; use Delete Account for account and associated-data deletion.
We require providers handling personal data for us to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable law. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
Your partner cannot read your raw messages, voice notes, photos, or raw Love Map answers. The Together area can receive a derived coaching summary containing general needs, patterns, and suggestions. It is designed not to quote your conversation, but it is still relationship data shared within your paired couple space.
Chats, raw media, and raw assessment answers are stored locally on your device. Account, pairing, derived case-file, subscription, and analytics records may be stored in Firebase while your account is active. Requests sent to xAI are subject to xAI's service safeguards and retention practices.
Use Settings → Account → Delete Account to initiate immediate deletion of your Firebase account, your current synced profile and case file, pairing membership, identifiable analytics profile, and local app data. Your partner's independently owned account and private data remain. Reset This Device removes local data but does not delete your account. App Store subscriptions must be canceled separately.

Data is encrypted in transit. Firebase authentication and database rules restrict access to synced couple data. No security method can guarantee absolute protection.
Couple AI is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 13.
